The existing façade and its characteristic details are completely preserved and emphasized using an appropriate color concept. The new load-bearing structure is realized through embedded columns, thus emphasizing the symbiosis between the existing structure and the newly added body. The use of an open floor plan also supports the idea of using the building as a multifunctional, flexible space.
The architectural solution proposes a spatial connection between the existing ground floor and the new upper floor, providing natural lighting for the entire daytime area. The visual connection between the two floors creates a continuous, unified space.
By using a combination of wood, metal, and glass, the industrial character of the building is intended to be preserved while creating a new atmosphere.
